lol so many things happened but i haven bother to post yet. hmm. tuesday went out with family to watch "land of the lost". ok la quite funny but then the graphic damn dog and disgusting. somemore the actors like to use vulgarities and touch here touch there. lmao. then wednesday to friday was claz chalet...

the first day we not many ppl came, but got alot of ppl sleepover. first day nothing much lo, just go around cycle, then play cards, talk, and psp mania. lol me and yulong at 2nd floor doing homework, at first got super good progress...then DEBBY come in. I 10 mins do 1 equation: "20/2 = 10". yulong 15mins do TWO chem mcqs. seriously la...she come in our hw disrupted. then in the end we gave up doing hw. aft that yulong nice nice treat us supper..budden come back tell me he outside tio gl. some no life ppl go say "woah, macdonalds ah! captain somemore! (coz yulong wearing captain tee)". nothing to do sia. then we also play shoot shag marry...the funniest thing is about yiqi.

me: wlao at least you give who is more shaggable leh..
yiqi: but then all shaggable leh.

WTF sia he seriously damn perverted..somemore he step into chalet first thing he say is "you know why i stay overnight here...coz can sex all the girls" LOL. then he say he just joking...but whether he is joking anot. who knows? ^^ then yulong went to buy supper that time we spent one hour in the room with yiqi..super perverted. yiqi look at weijie's butt then say "weijie, your ass damn sexy". then lie on weijie and dunno do what. seriously sia, he gay de.

then first day i slept for 1 hour, actually all of us tired le the girls still go play vball at 4am, then i play psp and slack. i 6am then sleep, the girls and yulong go watch sunrise..i 7am wake up. then 7am the girls and yulong start sleeping sia...damn imba.

2nd day more fun, coz mr tay come and play soccer with us~! and got more ppl come also. then we went to play soccer while the girls play vball. nothing much happen just that yiqi keep saying that he very pro coz he score alot of OPEN goals. we onli 3 ppl they 4 ppl then he just camp there, mr tay pass to him and he score. lol then he start showing off to ppl. hmm then at night went to watch movie "ghosts of the girlfriends past". quite nice not bad la...heard from other ppl it was not bad anyway. actually they wanted to watch drag me to hell but i small boy i scared marh. so they dun watch le lol psps =X. anyway the movie is damn porn, got alot of ways to jio girls sia, damn absurd. i think that show should be NC16 anyway. movie ratings suck. now all the nice nice movies NC16 le. oh and i forget that morning we went to ARCADE, then got some drama serial sia. debby's wallet got stolen but then she found back, with all the money gone. the girls actually went to call 999 sia, while me wenky yulong continue playing arcade LOL. like heck care man. wenxin tell us there was this guy wan to steal her wallet halfway she saw then she take back, uber and epic fail sia. then this is wad i heard during the convo between the police and debby. ^^

lol but cannot blame them, the Zone-X ppl ask them call police coz there have been 4 thefts the night before. anyway yknow who is the thief? some malay 6 yr old kid. imba right...then some more say the money find on the floor de. best sia he. they steal le still playing in arcade..then they play table soccer, yulong go disiao.

damn funny lol. then 2nd day i slept quite alot compared to first day, but chuanhui + 4 girls take the bed, yulong take the mattress, i took the floor. damn own sia the floor, super cold and hard. haizz. then we juz check out and go eat then went home. but aft that i went MP library to study with ym yulong fraser, then saw zw isaac gabriel there. seriously sia MP library cannot study de...always tio chased out by the staff. we went children corner also get chased out, go resource corner also get chased out..where they want us to study sia zz. should have went to T3 instead.

then today we went to play soccer at kemb..then got some malays ask us play with them they damn rough sia. they got studs we dun have, ask them dun slide they still slide. then they trip me then you know what they say?

Malay: Eh sorry ah boy, there got stone.

wow! i trip over a stone...very cool sia. then i fake him, he say "wa" then start clapping. seriously no life sia. and they push hoe shuen then elbow zw. make zw damn pissed. in the end 2nd half we go home liao dun wan plae with them. haiya they also not very good. no point anyway. now so late le...i think i go sleep, tomorrow still need finish my math hw. i still got l.a, chinese, geog, maths. chinese is the worst sia, i haven even borrow the stupid book. -.-

Yesterday my IDMI group members came to my house to do filming...yawns. The filming was quite okay la. but got alot of slacking in between lol. and noise pollution nearby my house. there was this household that was drilling and hammering on the second floor, super noisy. i think we're around half done with our film, just need to film a few more scenes and edit a little and we'll be done. (: well, life's been mundane these few days. no activities on for monday and tuesday. but i'll be going class chalet from wed to friday! well at least that's something to look forward to. hmm but i still haven't started on my homework. that's to say i have only 2 days of my holidays left to finish up my homework. haiz. anybody can lend me the chinese book that you're supposed to read? lol.

Passion

Well, here's to a more detailed post about STC @ Camp Resilience. Daring. Spirited. Passionate. I guess these 3 words that Gregory Sir said on the first day really spurred me on through the camp. With these 3 words applying to basically every activity in STC, I couldn't help but to keep thinking about those 3 words. Daring to overcome my fears, to be spirited by encouraging my group mates, and to be passionate about learning new things.

My last camp @ Pulau Ubin was short, yet it was long. The days passed quickly, but the things that I learnt definitely wasn't little. Honestly speaking, the camp wasn't what I expected it to be due to past year's experience with Area 5 ATC. However, I've learnt things that I didn't expect to learn through this camp.

From the scoldings during normal assemblies, to the jetty jump, to the fire-starting, to the shelter building, to the treasure hunt, to the area clean up, all these were valuable experiences that I've learnt.

Remembering the times that the CIs had to keep on reminding us, the hard way, not to fidget during flag raising or any activities, and how they cared for us if we were feeling unwell, I then realised that there is always a need to scold but only when necessary. I do not blame the CIs for scolding and raising their voice on us when they needed to, because some people, no matter how nicely you told them to do things, would never do anything. The only way you can get them to do stuff is by scaring them.

During the Jetty Jump, I did not have any problem in mustering courage to plunge down into the waters, however what did inspire me was how one of my groupmates who was so afraid of water managed to do it. She wanted to be the last to take the jump, yet she took enough courage into stepping onto the plank, and eventually jumping down into her deepest fear. But in the end, it was still those 3 words which really mattered. Daring. Spirited. Passionate. Those 3 words spurred her onto jumping into the sea, and to conquer her fears.

In the treasure hunt, no doubt the sun was scorching hot and the trek was very long. All of us endured. We made it in the end, as champions. Not only literally champions, but also champions in our hearts. Till now I still wondered how I managed to finish trekking that torturous route that we had to take. Maybe he was right, it was not the camp that had changed him, it was the people around him that had changed him. Having awesome group mates was actually a bonus to this camp, as I had actually expected to just stick to my friends then. But this team which I'm in, bonded together so quickly that even I was surprised. We had totally no arguments and I'm glad to say everybody was cooperative. What mattered was those 3 words again, Daring. Spirited. Passionate.

I will definitely remember the times where we put in our best, and also the times which we didn't. We disappointed not only our group CI, but ourselves. Not being able to adhere to the timing that was given to us, we were late. A privilege that was given to us but we did not treasure. However, we managed to redeem ourselves during the future activities. That was what mattered, that we put in our best after that, to redeem ourselves.

I will also remember the 17 people that were together with me for the 3 days. It is those people that helped me to endure and to encourage me. Over the 3 days, 18 strangers came together and were known as a group, put in their best for the team, and eventually became a great team. We were thrown, not in the most satisfactory conditions to live in, but we still managed to bring out the best in everybody.

As we sat together for the final group debrief, everybody knew that it was time to move on. It was quite an emotional debrief, because after the debrief, everyone would be moving on to their own directions, back to their own units, leading their own mediocre lives. Each and every one of the group members aspired me to become better, and it was definitely my honour to be able to be in the group. Because we will always be daring to try, spirited in our heart, passionate to learn. May the passion burn on!

finally i'm back from STC! (: well was rather bad, as in the living environment. but i guess i had fun, esp. the jetty jump. :D hmm my series of camps are over, finally i can enjoy my holidays! class chalet is coming up soon, am looking forward to that yeah. but holiday homework really dampens the mood. and IDMI too. ._. somebody help me do my homework? hahaha.

EDIT: Competition was great! Most probably we're in the finals! :D

Well i'm back from SC camp, but I was supposed to leave tomorrow but since I have competition tmr, so yeah. And I won't be back till Sunday, I'll be in UBIN having STC. hopefully it'll be enjoyable and fun! :D well, competition is tomorrow, i'm so NOT ready for it. ._. k gtg sleep, wish me luck! (:

today was really great! group WOW improved tremendously and i'm sure we're all satisfied with their performance, and tomorrow will be an even better day! :D with the highlight of the day, the concert haha. this is the only picture i have right now, so yeah. well, hopefully tomorrow will be better! 3 more days till competition and STC. ._. i don't want to screw up for comp. :/
